A new Bus Rapid Transit station in south Minneapolis

Metro Transit and the Minnesota Department of Transportation are building a Bus Rapid Transit station on I-35W at 46th Street in south Minneapolis.

Representatives from Metro Transit and MnDOT met with residents on June 1 at Martin Luther King Recreation Center in the Kingfield neighborhood of Minneapolis.

The presentation from that meeting is available at the link below.

Station construction is funded by the Urban Partnership Agreement, a $133 million federal grant awarded to reduce traffic congestion and improve transit options in along I-35W and in downtown Minneapolis.
