Head out with your Go-To College Pass

Getting to school, work or your favorite hot spot is easy with your Go-To College Pass! Consider the benefits:

- Ride buses and trains for an entire semester at one low price*
- Greatly reduces your carbon footprint
- Travel time becomes productive time – read or study

*All regional transit providers accept the Go-To College Pass, including suburban systems. You must add stored value on your card to cover additional fare required for Route 888.

If needed, add stored value to your Go-To College Pass here, at Metro Transit stores, rail station ticket machines or any Go-To Card retailer. If you have stored value left on your card at the end of a semester, you can transfer that to a new Go-To College Pass or Go-To Card. Call 612-373-3333 for assistance. Do not add stored value to an expired card.

If your school doesn’t currently offer the Go-To College Pass, have your school’s representative contact us for more information.

Using your Go-To College Pass

On The bus

When taking a bus, just touch your card to the Go-To circle on the reader. Be ready to show the driver a valid student ID card if asked.

Each bus has a blue card reader on the right as you board.

On The train

At rail stations, touch your card to the Go-To circle on the reader next to the ticket machine. That will validate your ride. Failure to do so could result in a ticket.

While you ride, be ready to show your Go-To College Pass and student ID to Transit Police if asked. An officer will scan your card to verify that your ride was validated.

Rail stations have card readers located next to each ticket machine.
