Attention Route 5 Customers
Chicago Ave. detour begins May 18
Effective Monday, May 18, Route 5 buses will be on detour due to the long-term closure of Chicago Ave. between Franklin Ave. and 28th St.
Northbound buses will travel on Chicago, 26th, Park, Franklin and Chicago. Southbound buses will travel on Franklin, Portland, 28th and Chicago.
Board buses at these locations:
-on Chicago Ave. south of 28th St. or north of Franklin
-on westbound 26th St. just west of Chicago
-on eastbound 28th St. just west of Chicago
Buses also will stop at marked bus stops along the detour route on Park and on Portland.
